What Creates Clarity?

For me, and maybe for you too, it has been a combination of things. For me, these two things have been what I needed to make time work for me! One is having a steady yoga practice. The second is having great coaches, mentors, and a spiritual teacher who help me to see reality clearly and provoke me to dig deeper into the nitty-gritty.

But did you notice how I wrote this? Yoga came first. And it always will. It has to. It must. No if, and’s, or but’s about it.

When yoga falls away time shortens and I literally feel like I am constricting and very quickly go into feelings of overwhelm and anxiety. However, when I stay consistent in my practice, time expands. I feel more creative. I flow from one project or area of focus seamlessly to the next.

Then, we have to have consult with someone who is going to ask us deeper, self-reflective questions. If you don’t have a practice and then go into trying to get all your answers from the outside, this is bound to fail, implode, and ka-boom! - no Bueno. Your practice has to come first - always. When you make this your number one priority, things will line up and fall into place magically. Synchronicity will be everywhere. Then, when you consult your mentors, coaches, or spiritual teachers you will experience what is known as a confirmation instead of various forms of validation.

Now, with clarity - act accordingly

When you pull in the mentors you need you are setting yourself up for success. You are literally saying to the Universe, “Yes, I want to be a winner, baby!” (get my RuPaul reference?) But seriously, your success is defined by where you are spending your energy, the effort you are making to make a difference in yourself and in the world, and how consistently you show up.

Acting accordingly can mean a variety of things based on your situation.

But whatever your next action step is, make sure it is coming from the right place.

Make sure you are rooted into the core of your Self.

Let the energy of your soul come through everything you do.

With gratitude,
Brandon Spratt
